Cisco doesn't talk to devices, Cisco talks protocols, most of them are documented in specs and they are often vendor neutral.

if any hardware does not confirm to specs, thats on them and its actually a reason to pull out and replace legacy hw

Cisco is losing to competitors in some features/products, for example to juniper mist.

rewrite can be done to quickly refactor and/or close the feature parity, improve the UI/UX for end customer, add missing features or integration needs

there is software to simulate any arbitrarily complex network: GNS3, eve-ng, Cisco Modeling labs, etc

there is always infra/platform underneath the system, they are the SREs

their only argument is dont do anything, dont build anything, dont change anything, the Earth is too populated, so we need degrowth degrowth degrowth at all costs and fall of living standards across the board, so that we can achieve true Net Zero Carbon life.

thats the only argument these people make

can today's labs prompt Claude Code to do 1488 experiments in-vitro continiously over 48 hrs ?

then why are we bothering with importing batteries from China if USA has solved the problem with pumped storage ???

dont you see the problem with USA solving the problem and USA still having a lack of energy storage issue ???

because SWEs are simply more superior. it is SWEs who built AI, and not the biology students

currently we rely on meatbags to do 2 and 3, we have not fully built in-vitro done by Claude Code

the transition is in-silico => in-vitro => in-vivo

AI already can do in-silico simulation

add microscopes and tiny precision actuators, and we can build closed feedback loop in-vitro system

once we have in-vitro, it will be easier to go in-vivo

we do have high precision microscopes that can see molecules, so it is possible to build closed system with feedback loop that feeds back into AI at very small scales

Internet is untrusted network, there are a lot of malicious and gray actors. There is no community here.

it is in fact engineering incompetence and loose engineering, if you cant handle a burst of traffic

its not a denial of service because there was never an intent to deny the service

if you put stuff available to download, dont be surprised that someone will download it

What is the actual news here, can anyone explain ????

USA should explore Pumped Storage Hydropower more, it has same or better efficiency than battery storage and can use existing facilities like hydroelectric dams
