An anthropic employee did a talk earlier this year or last and i think it was said that yeah, they eat it up. Tools to find errors because it is visible is great

Consent banners are generally malicious compliance and designed to annoy.

Most of their products have an AI harness embedded and it works well, at least for me. Has tools to let the models access proper debugging too(my experience is Clion) so that my build is available to them even when using remote/docker builds. The integration with codex works well too.

They host a lot of models too, and that is probably where they burned the cash.

Canada did this for the Cuba sanctions years ago. There was/is a semi famous story about Walmart Canada and Cuban PJ's.

My thought too.

There are so many things that are expressible in C++ now that could not be without writing much more code or using per-compilation tools back then. The ability to run code at compile time that is not run at runtime is huge, #embed lets us make other tools output available without linker scripts or compiler specific tools that.

Also, most of the code from the past still works(from 10 years ago definitely works)

Write it once with N errors, not N*M errors :)

C++ is getting std::simd in the latest version and I am all aboard writing the vectorization with the least amount of intrinsic builtins I am able to. Even if not optimal, it's far better than the scalar ops.

I dont mean minimum wage. I mean skilled trades and highly educated. Who is going to build the homes we are build 1/2 to 2/4 what we did prior to 2010. Who is going to work the R&D roles when the Canadians are all working

Wage suppression can be dealt with by making the wages for visa workers higher than some formula that takes local and national averages into account

Alberta's existence as a province was predicated upon those Treaties existing in the first place. It and Saskatchewan were part of the NW Territories until like 1905.

Like, more markets for O&G and maybe AG too.

I mean, they are getting everything the want with the Fed gov building pipelines and other infra to aid them. The east/west from years back was the company didn't want to budge on the route through Quebec and decided to walk, Keystone was the US cancelling. Trudeau got the pipeline to the west coast done and it's doing a million barrels a day almost now. Plus others to east and Churchill look like they are in the works. Only so many welders

Canada has needed more workers but is suffering from a lack of affordable($675000 average when the average family makes <$110000) housing like many places with other costs rising too. The number of housing starts has never recovered from the huge downturn around 2010.

or a hash like other audio recognition techniques.

None of that requires recording and has been done with embedded hw with local software for years.
