Law is programs running on humans.

That can not the whole story, because the countries with the highest birth rate are not even remotely close to "our" standards of living.

Even we accept your premise that moderation is _some_ form of censorship, it still holds that we may not want _other_ or _all_ forms of censorship.

The last sentence of your comment, therefore, is manipulative. It's like saying "ice is a form of water, so you can't have drinks without water, and the only difference is who waters down your bourbon".

There is a difference between being taught and being preached to. Intelligent people are particularly sensitive to this distinction, and that category of people happens to be the audience of the magazine.

You did not experience a trait of humans generally, but a trait of the specific, historically rare instance of high-trust society that had been consciously invented, built and protected, and that you were very lucky to be born into or live in.

Turns out, Opus is pretty good at one-shotting Obsidian plugins - it doesn't even need to be shown a sample - so I "made" a few for myself. (They only make sense in my vault structure, so no use in publishing them, especially when it costs only a few bucks to "make" your own.)

"Stable" here means mechanically stable (they don't fall apart as quickly as was expected), not radiologically stable (the radioactive elements, of course, still decay at their normal rate).

> unpaid household management jobs

Such a drab, dystopian, ultra-capitalist, and essentially dishonest description of the homemaker role.

Actions like yours are why I left Reddit many years ago, and generally why we can't have nice things.

Have you seen the episode "Darmok" of Star Trek The New Generation series? It is about a people with an impenetrable language aimed at packing as much information as possible by using references and metaphors, not descriptions. I guess this is where LLM language output is heading.

Same. I don't think I remember the last time I came across actually "FAR right propaganda" recommended by an algorithm. Could be that the author and I differ in what "far right" means.
