I followed his column, I seem to recall the last one was about helping his kid build a minecraft server.

I hope Leo Laporte and Steve Gibson cover his passing, they knew him.

Yes. There's all kind of hydrocarbons that aren't economic or barely so, like oil shale or shale oil, with is rock with a stain on it.

Interestingly, Venezuelan extra heavy sour crude oil is not profitable to use at $55 a barrel, the price before the Iran war, but is profitable when it's over $90 a barrel.

It's easy to make money when someone else pays the costs but you get to keep the revenue.

A lot of countries consider energy security national security, and national security always bats last.

A lot of countries also use it to help subsidize (or help cover up the costs of) their military nuclear programs.

I agree, I tell everyone who will listen that no country, not Russia, China, Japan, France, USA etc has ever made nuclear power profitable. And you can't blame it on the environmentalists in China and Russia.

That being said, many countries consider it a national security issue not to be held hostage to foreign oil.

We can have billionaires, or we can have democracy. We cannot have both, because the billionaires have declared war on democracy. We have to imagine a world without billionaires because the billionaires are imagining a world without us. --Gil Duran, author of The Nerd Reich: Silicon Valley Fascism and the War on Democracy

That's the one that powers Truth Social

Trump Media and Technology Group announced that it partnered with Perplexity to test and integrate an AI search feature, referred to as Truth Social AI or Truth Search AI, directly into the Truth Social platform.

(I just use the free account from truth+ to waste their money)

how do you reverse a linked list in python

Answers Sources Use either an iterative pointer-reversal approach or a recursive approach. The standard iterative version is the most common and runs in (O(n)) time with (O(1)) extra space:

class ListNode: def __init__(self, val=0, next=None): self.val = val self.next = next

def reverse_list(head): prev = None curr = head

    while curr:
        nxt = curr.next
        curr.next = prev
        prev = curr
        curr = nxt

    return prev
If you already have a Python list, reversing it is simpler with slicing: items[::-1], but that is not a linked list reversal.

I used to watch defrag (and defraggler). If you have OCD they are very satisfying to watch. The more fragmented they were to start with, the better.
