Computer case windows cause hf interference in the ionosphere?

This is a great game, I will note however that I'm not sure what the future of the project will look like with the dark horse publisher getting signed

I worry that they may be looking to take it closed source

So they can monitor if something goes wrong, have a tech troubleshoot and deploy with the right parts.

Modern HVAC and fire control b systems for buildings are often connected now as well

I think you misunderstood what parent was saying

The same orgs that harassed and antagonized Aaron Schwartz are not going after AI for the same thing at a much much larger scale.

What's different? The size of their bank accounts.

To an economist, the highest and best use of the land around disneyland is not my home. It's not housing. It's hotels, motels, restaurants. So my land would now be taxed at that rate, until I'm forced out

For devil's advocate's sake, how is this not state sponsored gentrification?

Alternatives like aggressive up zoning and development would benefit this cohort and be welcomed as well. It's very natural to welcome things that benefit you

> she doesn't need that house

Ick.

Georgists would say that if some corporation built Disneyland next door, I no longer deserve to live there. How am I to compete with the vast productivity of a massive corporation?

Where do I deserve to live then? Only where my productivity matches the economic bar of those around me?

I'm getting old and tired. Am I only allowed in a retirement home?

Both can be true. The luxury development can increase value for neighbors while making surrounding areas cheaper

> in order to get meaningful propulsion, you introduce heeling

I think that in order for this to work we would have to take on more traditional downwind trade routes, which would avoid a lot of the traditional heeling

The keychain and passwords app are separate and keychain still exists

I always operated under the assumption that the passwords app was just a more casual view into the keychain

Maybe that's a bad assumption

It actually happened. The US GNIS system was updated, and thus the apple maps and google maps have updated their maps to reflect

Other map providers will have to make a decision, but these sorts of things have historically been fraught with politics, I think most maps will go with whatever the official source they use has declared

I left this year when they told me I'd have to re-buy my lifetime pass. I suspect they rolled it back, but as you said that was the last straw. All of these streaming nonsense that keeps getting re-enabled, totally troublesome to help friends with the same settings

I couldn't help but think with all the ads they were serving me directly, that they must be selling my data as well. That's not the point of self-host. No thank you.

Jellyfin still missing download w/ transcode, but with space getting so cheap I don't miss it. I do need to improve the music side though

The eagles club, the elks club and the rotary club are all still active in my area.

No idea why they name themselves after animals

That's just not how it works. If I was to call a plumber and a sheetwaller, and a painter, I would be paying $6-12k for a leak. This kills any idea of profit for this year.

What really happens is that I put on my big boy pants, I talk to the tenant, I visit the unit, I crawl under the house, I cut out the drywall, I remove and patch the plumbing, I replace the drywall, I mud the wall, and I paint the wall.

I could have it the way you suggest, pay 10% to some property manager and 1500-3000 for any call to any contractor but that means... I'd have to raise the rent, and not by a small amount.

At the end of the day I'm a housing provider, so I'd like to keep rents and vacancies low. This seems to be what tenants want too.

So yes, I'm doing the best I can, but no, my work is not encompassed by a phone call

Pets, and car maintenance can both damage the property. Noise in the quiet time disrupts other tenants

Does programming cause property damage or impact other tenants?
