Amazing read. AI indeed completely annihilated every other topic. You can go to any tech conference these days and anything that isn't related to AI just feels so irrelevant. It wasn't like this at all for crypto, NFT or any other hype topic of the day.

How established is your team? I can see how teams that existed from the pre-LLM era can maintain their vitality, but would expect newer teams to struggle a lot more. Also, remote or in-person?

In addition to all of that, I want people to understand that "why have you built an LLM torture factory" - is primarily a question _about you_. It's just bad for the soul, don't do it.

I feel you! I still try to share/comment on human-written posts even if they're not fully up my alley. Pangram extensions helps a lot with that. But yeah, in general it's just crickets and a buzzing noise of tokens floating around

Hi there, fellow Elixir blogger there! For me personally the advent of LLMs had the opposite effect: if world is going to be filled with garbage, however bad my writing is, at least it's going to be human. If you ever decide to write again, just know that some people out there still care!

there is a running joke among a part of the community that goes something like "0 days since last persistent workflow orchestration library announcement".

I feel like Elixir community is a bit too nice to call out obvious slop (some folks straight out post LLM-generated blog posts every week or so), so instead we could focus on elevating human effort. Recent Oban release for example had a note that all the docs a human-written. We should praise this!
