One does not have to have climate anxiety to want to fly less.

With you on this, haha. Big tech has heavily crowded the wearables space, with questionable intentions and uses of personal health data.

Additionally, when doing research around kinetic / thermal energy harvesting technology for a wearable design project (gesture recognizing smart ring) for school, we found modules to have far too low a volumetric energy density (W/mm^3) to be useful, where size matters more than anything else.

Musical instrument design is a well saturated space as well…

I disagree. You’re getting caught in the semantics; the notion of 20 $5 coffees makes sense and is an easy and relatable way to reframe $100.

Yes. That is how biometric data works; if my finger gets cut off I can no longer unlock with touch ID on my iPhone.

Wonder if they have a backup ID method of some sort or if it’s solely iris data

“When we came down to stay at the station starting in 2001, we brought everything with us: showers, toilets, generators, pumps, kitchen sink…” recalls Chris McKay, an astrogeophysicist at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley, whose name is still visible, written in ink on the Yungay research station wall. But despite the humble settings and the lack of water, “it was magical,” he says. “We would sit around after dinner and talk science. There was no phone, no internet, just us.”

A driver can be electrically modeled as a series resistor and inductor (very approximate model), I imagine that couldn’t be hard to add in.

Why use a micro at all? You could have implemented the entire circuit with a couple extra discrete components to reduce complexity.

Thanks for putting downloads behind a paywall.

Wonder if a program like this would be made available to students, or if there’s a way for students to get involved.

I'd imagine those are designed with keeping your focus on the road in mind, by doing things like limiting notifications to only incoming phone calls while you're driving

How common are programming languages designed with base languages other than english? This is the first one i’ve seen.

UAV futures is also a fun youtube channel to get started with and is a little less technical than joshua bardwell at first.

to have your mind blown by experienced fpv pilots, check out Nurk FPV, Johnny FPV, Mr. Steele, and Rotor Riot.

FPV is a disproportionately expensive hobby ... every hard crash can cost you between $20 ( broken motor bell) to $200 (cost of entire drone when dropped in water and electronics go poof). Still great hobby, highly recommend!
