Just pulled the new matomo that was published on dockerhub 26 minutes ago, thinking it has the patched PHP version:

  # docker pull matomo:latest
  latest: Pulling from library/matomo
  Digest: sha256:6e63589d31ec653f78e029084d21488640fdbbd9a42c96c872098f42c8678a02
Status: Image is up to date for matomo:latest
  docker.io/library/matomo:latest

  # docker run --rm matomo:latest php --version
  PHP 8.4.26 (cli) (built: Oct 21 2026 00:31:19) (NTS)
  Copyright (c) The PHP Group
  Built by https://github.com/docker-library/php
Zend Engine v4.4.26, Copyright (c) Zend Technologies
with Zend OPcache v8.4.26, Copyright (c), by Zend Technologies
The PHP build is from today, which is doubly misleading. 8.4.27 is the patched release, not 8.4.26. I wonder how many people will pull this image thinking they're good to go online again.

The problem with the Peace Prize in general, or this time? It's not entirely clear to me what you're trying to say.

The captions are pretty great:

"Image of a man holding a woman and a phone."

Both Bauhaus and Hartwig have "spheres for pawns". It surprised me that they both also chose distinctly six-sided spheres! ;)

Did you comment on the wrong thread? The original one makes more sense :)

This is cool! The inclusion of z kind of breaks this for my fellow Scandinavians though. Many of us don't really hear the difference between z and s, and even if we do we can't pronounce it properly.

The P/B distinction will be difficult for many people as well.

I believe this is one of the reasons that Toki Pona only has nine consonants (/p, t, k, s, m, n, l, j, w/) and five vowels (/a, e, i, o, u/).

Somme kind of error correcting would be nice too, perhaps?

Is it because KO and chaos are both pronounced /ka.o/?

"It isn’t possible to know what Einstein and Szilard might have accomplished, had their professional and personal lives not been interrupted."

Is it just me?

Yeah, I'm no GDPR expert but it seems completely unreasonable that the "legitimate interest" numbers add upp to 2825. Even though there's probably some overlap, the biggest category is "Measure advertising performance (695 partners included)". How does this dialogue help me control who gets my data or how it will be used?

Since at least you know where it was when you put the camera on it?

Oh no, I forgot to test light mode. Thanks for letting me know!

I'll fix it as soon as I'm in front of a computer. Happy Midsummer!
