Main car of anime Initial-D is a Toyota. They revived it a while back. So they are doing that kind of aesthetic.

Those kinds of in-place intense rewrites or ports of production software , assisted by AI probably is going on in other companies as well. High-value, verifiable. Too bad this article didn't get much attention. Not everything is applicable to others, but valuable lessons, even if part of it is AI writtern (doesn't feel like it)

Strange thought experiments are fine, but I think you should first try giving AIs God (ideal to strive for, and belief that you will ultimately be judged and be saved accordingly, and that is NOT the "scorer") and conscience (use your intelligence to reason what being "good" means. Continuously update). Those are not precisely defined, but neither are other goals and guardrails.

Lee Sedol, a top play of Go, quit playing professionally after AlphaGo. Others are still playing. I think this is a personal quest, and differs individually. There probably are similar stories at the start of industrialization.

I standardized on Google Password Manager, so use it for banking and stuff on many machines.

Should I use 1password, or setup passkeys and TOTP separately for iOS? I have no idea.

I heard Muse Spark 1.1 isn't too shabby. Since Meta compute >> Chinese labs, we'll see how it goes from here.

It's an anti-consumer evil practice, but if it is a national threat that's on the nation's security infra.

Incentive is for users in general to release sessions (sans PII, credentials) so all AI get better and there is alternatives. Even if China didn't do this, I don't see frontier labs being able to charge premium over others for long. RSI maybe?

He seems to be saying that Claude Code can make discoveries. Does anyone think novel discoveries can be made from systems created by supervised learning only, and attempting to do so?

> Claude-Code, which have brought true advances in ... programming. ... these systems have found things that are both novel and good.
