Vendor lock-in is inevitable when negotiating enterprise contracts. Companies will sign one or two-year deals based on headcount, convinced they're going to save a ton of money. And a big part of the appeal will probably come from intelligence capabilities being bundled with services they're already paying for (looking at you Microsoft)

That is correct, both Twitter and Meta actively suppressed the Biden laptop story. That was clear election interference.

Of course. Like being dragged in endless Teams meetings.

It's only to signal intent.

It's a smart way to acquire early users before committing time and money.

I'm very fond of that era and always wanted to go back to that kind of public social space.

I personally think we should get rid of all photos/videos to begin with.

I don't think your analysis is on point regarding the gaming market.

You're leaving out the social and mobile games that made astronomical amount of money in early 2010s like Farmville and Candy Crush.

In fact, the 2010–2026 era proved that non-AAA games, smaller mobile studios, and independent developers could achieve higher profit margins than traditional big studio projects.

Moreover, indie game market has never been as strong. AI will accelerate and democratize this trend further, as upfront development costs is reduced.

> while young people are drinking less alcohol due to health and financial concerns

My observation is that gen-z spends less time socializing in real life, and drinking remains a social habit for the most part at a younger age. While they drink less, cannabis, vaping and psychedelics are on the rise.

It's a nice claim to say they are more responsible, but it tells an incomplete story.

This isn’t about conspiracy theories. People who experienced serious adverse events after vaccination exist, including documented cases in Canada. Kayla Pollock’s case is one worth looking into, among others.

The issue is still being debated today, particularly around Canada’s VISP and the time some claimants have spent waiting for compensation. Some people like Pollock who became paralyzed were offered MAID (medical assitance in dying). That's some audacity.

This thread is about accountability. So who should be accountable for this?

Here’s an unpopular opinion: COVID vaccine injuries are something no one seems willing to talk about. There have been documented cases here in Canada.

You’re worried about companies. I’m far more concerned when governments are involved.
