Pi doesn't have a search tool. I think of web search as an interaction with a search engine. So it makes perfect sense to use MCP.

(although i don't, i have a CLI)

Yeah, this was a pain to read on mobile. Scroll jumping around, things opening. It shows the difference between a web page and a web app.

It seems like this has few benefits over using a directory for the bundle and puting your files in there, no? What am i missing?

I still don't understand what is about REPL that lisp people find particularly useful.

Do you recommend any resources explaining the workflow?

This does make sense. I generally only switch between models in pi when creating a new session. And it is apparent from the promt if this just a "how to see open ports on linux" or "make a concrete plan for feature X"

Well, for .deb there is the dependency problem. Even if your deb is just a release of a project, you can only use versions of dependencies that are in debian repository. Or include it all in your .deb, which becomes hard to maintain.

By "infinite branches" you probably mean that a nix derivation / flake is a recipe that can build any version of the project?

I'd guess that there is an insignificant minority of people who strongly prefer nix over anything else.

And it might be because it is easy to provide and maintain compared to a .deb package.

I don't think compilers are smart enough to realize that multiplication with tau, followed by multiplication of 2/pi should be simplified away.

Also, sin is probably used so much that inlinung would probably inflate binary size significantly.

Software patents? Care to elaborate?

My wife only printed the 6 photo albums because I gathered all our photos from three different Google Photos accounts, a hard drive, and two laptops.

And yes, we only look at physical photos or the "on this day X years ago" reels. But to get here, Immich was a valuable tool.

It seems like China is becoming the "freedom superpower" while USA is getting "corporate superpower" vibes. Huh

There is precedent of Google making changes in light of "security" that break ad blocking Chrome extensions. See chome extension manifest 3.

So this concern cannot be dismissed with just "slippery slope falacy", it's a new vector of the same power grab strategy.

Does Huawei not use android or Google play services?

This looks like something I'd need - AGENTS.md only gets you so far. Does anyone have experience with using memory like this?

My main concern is that it can overwhelm the context window with useless facts.

Seems like good news - market share of AWS and Azure in EU is huge, so I naturally support efforts to kurb power of such duopoly.

But what would be practical effects of DMA on AWS? Who is the customer, who is the vendor?
