> Can't mark PRs as drafts by default in GH

You can choose to create draft prs on the pr creation page and it will default to draft from there on. But this is per user and maybe per repo too. Besides if you’re using llms, you can set it to create draft prs.

It's interesting that even 4chan was taken down for over 24hours now. Responsible people there.

I convinced myself that it was for health but in practice mostly it’s for the following

0. Can see time in dark

1. Notifications, don’t have to take out the phone and doomscroll

2. Find my phone

3. Phone calls when my hands are busy and I stay away from my phone as much as possible

4. TickTick (notifications only, the app sucks on watch, use todoist if you want to USE it)

5. Timers, I follow pomodoro

Opera peaked at 12. I had it installed even till 2016? The later versions completely lost the plot for what a browser is.

Also had safari 5(?) on windows because I liked seeing a progress bar for page load. Which opera 12 also had.

Maybe I just like progress bars.

The screen is a bit small. One has to hunch down and really want to use it.

IDM and NDM are still the golden standards for download managers. I still can’t trust browsers. These things let me go to the source page where the download was captured from if it failed. Gets streaming video from most non drm sites. IDM is still getting updates.

That is different though. That site is just creating a passkey and storing in your keychain (or windows equivalent). Windows hello unlocks the keychain. It can be your face, fingerprint, usb key, 4 digit pin anything. Chrome already uses this. You’re not sending your face to that website nor to microsoft, I hope.

Reddit used to allow that till last week and now they started rejecting those emails. RIP temporary mail services and throwaway accounts.

Thank you for sharing. I enjoy reading these.

But don’t you think these were just complaints about higher levels of abstractions? We still had to learn lower levels in school.

AI and tbh society in general just invalidates the economic viability of learning what’s under the foundations.

What will happen when he retires? What about the generation who grew up pressing enter on claude code, though nowadays auto mode does it for you. It’s strange for a brief moment in history humans peaked in technological literacy and it went down from there. I hope the doctor guys are still learning.
