NBA and MLB both have ads on the jersey (Nike and an additional per-team sponsor)

5% of iPhone sales is an enormous amount of revenue. Billions right?

I think the iPhone mini sold 5-10 million units per year. I don't view that as a flop, and I don't think it merits sarcasm around how "many" people wanted it.

They could swap in quality cushioning without changing the silhouette. They used the term “protro” when they did this to upgrade Kobe sneakers and people loved it. I assume the reason they don’t with dunks is because the margins on selling 1980s tech is insane.

I deactivated my account when Musk took over, and am not aware of anything I’ve missed since then. Is there anything big that I missed?

A huge percentage of Nike’s sales come from vintage shoes like dunks, air force ones, Jordan 1s, etc. By modern standards, they aren’t good shoes. They aren’t suitable for the sport they were originally designed for, and they aren’t comfortable compared to modern lifestyle shoes.

I can’t believe Nike is ok with that being how loads of people experience the brand. Why not spend an extra $2 upgrading the cushioning to React or Zoom so that they feel good on foot?

Nike does of course also make great modern shoes, but you have to know what’s what.

I was prompted to accept binding arbitration in order to read this, so I didn't. Feel free to summarize.

Keep in mind the dimensions of the iPhone 1 were based on the most comfortable shape and size they could come up with. They weren’t targeting women specifically.

It’s crazy that the reason we can’t have a comfortable-to-hold one is that a product that only sells 5 or 10 million units a year isn’t worth their time.

Surround yourself with tiny replica objects and look like a giant. You can skip straight to CEO.

It used to be nobody could cancel online, and after my commit two states could. I think you may be overreacting here.

All of my degrees are in jazz music. My education was not utilized for this particular task.

I once wrote code that checks location before hiding/showing the cancel button. It’s really absurd that the nice experience exists on all subscription sites by now but you only get to see it if your state demands it.

Can’t rule out hyperinflation doing some heavy lifting :)
