Does that make the copyright lobbyists Don Quixote?

Well Wikileaks didn't have copyright infringement claims against it and it has suffered massive blows to funding and traffic.

TPB exists because people care about it. People care about it because it provides something relevant to them.

To the poster below me: he is selling $2500 machines. The people he sells the machines to sell the $.25 napkins but the machine can make 1000 napkins a day. One machine properly worked could turn a gross profit of $91,250/year. He has sold 600 machines so far so that is $1.5 million that the inventor has grossed.

Maybe they aren't super rich but I am sure the napkin makers and the inventor are both doing better then they would otherwise and more importantly they are keeping the money in India.

> The western world can afford high-tech solutions to clean up water, but the developing world cannot.

You might be surprised what the developing world can put together with electricity and a foot pedal.

Well there are also people like Jonathan Coulton (the guy who sings "code monkey") who started with nothing and built a fan base. Also he did the ending song for both Portal games.

I am not sure what Google pays in dues but I am willing to bet it is in excess of $100,000 and probably closer to somewhere in 10 digit range. That is a financial blow that would put pressure on them to stop alienating progressive businesses.

Sadly, one of the primary reasons that blips will never re-enter the mainstream.

This seems like a very low power way to manage network access to a small cluster of external hard drives.

Dillo would be the smallest but Opera would be the best for features per KB of RAM.

I would personally use Dillo because it just seems more suited to the environment and would fulfill it's purpose (looking up documentation) without crippling the system.

If you wanted to just browse the internet though I think Opera or Chrome would both be good choices. Especially if you used a minimal GUI.

This is how I come up with passwords; I find a phrase that I can remember without too much trouble then I use the first letter of each word to make a password.

Phrase: Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone

Password: 3RftE-kuts,7ftD-lithos

Easy to remember and highly secure. I have been using this method for years.

Bonus example: Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty

4sasyaofbfotc,ann,ciL

Less secure then the last example but still strong. Especially if you use uncommon strings like the words to a song by a local band or a phrase from the newspaper or an unpopular book. That way even an attack targeting this method will take a long long time.
