This language keeps the best parts of Python while discarding the bad. I clicked the link apprehensively, but I have to agree that this syntax is spot-on (for me, at least). So many new languages miss the mark.

I respect ACLU but this article seems a fair bit biased. They're stretching the imagination quite a bit in some of their examples. Seems to me that someone has already made up their mind and are now looking for any example to support their narrative.

I'd love for them to build a case more impartially and drop the activist nature of the language they use.

Usage of phrases like "Big Tech" and "Targeting" make me believe this article is written with extreme bias even before I click the link.

This is a very neat idea. I am not sure why the page needs to load 40mb of data and make me wait 5 mins before the first view. I'd probably also add some ranking criteria to surface good quality articles that maximize the "I learnt something new today" factor. Overall kudos to the developer for original thinking.

Yeah it’s a slightly blurry line. What metric are you using? I’d say Seattle is way ahead of Minneapolis in terms of economic influence.

To put things in perspective, US is a massive country. All this news is coming from one tier 3 city. (Roughly speaking LA, NYC etc being tier 1. Seattle, Dallas etc being tier 2)
