By one percent, do you mean 3% of people per year in a high risk category turns into 2.97%, or 2%? Because that’s a big difference

They’re still the same price as an uber and there’s no way to actually order one, it’s all random. I don’t understand why… like I actively would prefer them. If they were available so instead I find myself reaching for the cybercabs instead at half the price.

Released October 2022? That’s a very human piece of art even if the images may have been generated by an algorithm

Residential real estate appraisals are done by under employed real estate agents. They’ll always find a way to justify the number that you paid, like during Covid when I bid $200k over asking for a $1M house, the appraiser didn’t bat an eye and got to that number. That was totally based on vibes.

That’s fine. They can choose to use whatever model their political hearts desire. the supply chain risk designation means EVERYONE who works with the government isn’t allowed to use Claude. Nearly everyone in tech has some sort of contract with the government.

Survivorship bias and the corporate finance world of today is completely unrecognizable from the world of Google and Apple. Just look at the resulting performance of the SPAC craze

It’s a $200M contract. That’s not nothing but it’s definitely not such a huge sum for these companies at their scale when they’re spending billions on infrastructure.

I’m sure anthropic has signed up more revenue this week in response to this debacle to cover it. Where they’re actually screwed is if the gov follows through and declare anthropic a supply chain risk.

I don’t care who is in the whitehouse. Snowden revealed the crimes of the NSA in 2013 when Obama was president. They’re all going to want to use AI for mass surveillance
