Did you misread the title?

Unfortunately Twitter still has the sauce that other social networks haven't quite matched yet (bsky just isn't there). I see very little chud-adjacent stuff unless someone has retweeted it. Even my For You page isn't that bad, although the 'for you page dawg it's lit' tweet is evergreen. I don't engage with obvious rage and engagement bait, though.

The quality of conversation there is absolutely in the gutter though. There's just no point looking into a thread these days because it's all going to be utter horseshit and obvious bots.

I do the same. The British PC layout is relatively recent as well, since when I had a Mac in 2013 it didn't exist, and the keyboard layout was the main factor why I ditched it.

Back on Mac now with British PC and it's much less frustrating to use the keyboard. Plenty of other frustrations instead. I'd prefer to be on Linux but the hardware is just too good.

Added benefit here is that we know this works.

I've been able to use cgroups and net namespaces for years.

It's isn't obvious to me what Docker does that we haven't been able to do for some time now.

I find it crazy that Amazon haven't implemented a feature that will take you to the same product in your local store easily. I had the same issue and had to go find it manually.

That's an expensive looking 'if'.

I've yet to see someone answer a question like this with a decent, useful answer.

I'm having solar installed next month and I specifically had to ask for islanding capability. This added about £1500 to the cost of the system, which I can see many people not opting for.

You will burn yourself out in months at that level of daily context switching.

It isn't worth it.
