> Catholics surely put great effort into bureaucracy and organization.

My (completely unfounded) theory is that monasteries have historically been the refuge of those with autism and their comorbidities.

To be clear, it's "Built almost entirely by women, men refused to fly it citing safety concerns [about the engines catching fire]." and not "...men refused to fly it citing safety concerns [because it was built by women]."

Well I have seen A Symbolic Analysis of Relay and Switching Circuits here quite a few times, but I suspect this post will get far less engagement.

Looking at https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11733696/ it seems like the base rate was 0.04 per 100,000. So ~70 female deaths per year in a population the size of the USA. That link suggests the mortality rate was reduced by a factor of 2-4, so vaccinating 2 million (?) girls per year saves 30-50 lives.

Some back-of-the-napkin math puts the price tag per life saved in the 8 digit range.

Canada's Temporary Foreign Worker Program is a horrible program that has been flagrantly abused for years to the detriment of Canadians. There's record high youth unemployment yet every Tim Hortons is filled with Indians.
