Factorio is a much easier game without the bugs being a pain in the arse as you expand - i wonder how Sol would handle the bugs

My question here - does this effect those of us using the official vscode/vscode marketplace? It would seem to imply this was specific to cursor's marketplace but it would be good to know regardless

There is one provider there that has a much smaller max output, and substantially higher price per million input/output tokens, along with a speed that is 20-30x slower than the other providers - why would someone willingly use them?

I can't imagine this avoids a cease and desist or DMCA notice from CD Projekt Red, since atleast as far I can see, it is distributing the game assets along with it, so even if the code was a clean room re-implementation of the game (which seems unlikely), the assets (and the game as a whole, effectively) being distributed to someone who doesn't necessarily own the game is probably not going to end well.

This is the reason why in some projects that are re-creations/ports/etc of games, they explicitly require that you have the assets yourself to use the project

Would you still be able to do this if you put plex behind tailscale and connected to your tailnet on your phone?

There are still reasonable, noticable differences in the layout between slack and discord.

Compare strafe and discord, the only differences im seeing is the strafe icon instead of the discord icon and a small difference in the embed in the chat message.

> - the hospitalist wants you to be stable in the short term so will pump you with whatever medications are necessary to get you "back to normal" without addressing any root cause

This really rings true with me after my experience having pancreatitis earlier this year. I ended up hospitalized THREE times in the span of a month. The initial hospitalization was for the pancreatitis (which became necrotizing pancreatitis, this is important). Then I was discharged after the pancreatitis pain subsided - I think at that point they had noticed that a psuedocyst had formed next to my pancreas but they didn't see it as an issue and wanted me to get it looked at outpatient.

A week later, back in the hospital, jaundiced face and eyes because it turns out the psuedocyst that 'wasn't a big issue' was compressing my bile duct, which were causing multiple issues. They did some tests, my liver enzyme tests went back to normal (briefly), they discharged me again.

Another week later and my liver enzyme tests had skyrocketed again, and I was instructed to go back to the ER again. This time we didn't take 'oh you'll be fine, deal with it outpatient' as an answer and insisted that they look deeper into it after the 2 previous hospitalizations, and they ended up being able to 'scoop out' the stuff in the psuedocyst and finally have it go away and stop causing issues

You should probably disclose that you own pushgate.dev in your comment

Edit: just to be clear, i'm not saying this to be snarky, I'm saying it because the comment reads like he is a user of pushgate.dev, as opposed to the owner

The first time I read the title, my mind went to the networking version of IP and I was wondering 'what kind of crazy security hole has happened now that would allow an arbitrary website to cause your isp (for external) or router (internal) to reset your ip address.

Intellectual property makes the title make much more sense

Amazing how the first 3 comments are from accounts that are less than an hour old (made right after this was posted). This shouldnt be on the front page.

Trying to artificially inflate the post is not a great way to build trust with your potential users.

> As for cost, this idea is promoted all the time but poor people in developed countries and poor people in undeveloped countries have much higher fertility rates. Poor people have more children, therefore it cannot be an issue of cost alone.

In these places where people have more children but are overall much poorer, is there a different in infant mortality rate? I know in the past, people having large numbers of children was in part a response to the fact that the infant mortality rate was higher.

Where do you find NGOs/projects that you can volunteer your tech skills to help? This sort of thing is something I've been interested in for a while but haven't been able to find a good place to start looking considering I havent previously done tech oriented charity work

Regarding that last bit, it feels like Florida is headed towards a point of trying to say 'minors should not be able to use the internet at all' since they are trying to force putting age verification infront of more and more things.

Don't get me wrong - while I disagree with making people fork over personal info just to access inappropriate websites - I can see the reasoning there a bit more than 'you shouldnt be able to use this ai chatbot until you are 18'

Looks like the issue is with the ?raw=true at the end of the URL
