What does that mean?
BZFlag suffers from inbreeding, where a couple of abusive admins can harass and ban players across all the (two) popular servers and choke off an already-small community. They abet cheaters and ban those who call them out, which is perplexing and sad.
This mistake turns the entire desktop into ONE application's client area, instead of making it an essentially "infinite" workspace.
It's also irritating as shit, since the menu's contents change behind your back... or neglect to change when you minimize an app and expect to return to the one that's now filling your screen... only to find that the menu is still owned by a now-invisible application.
It's a GUI 1.0 mistake that Apple should have corrected in the move to OS X but didn't.
+1 for knowing when to use a slash, not a hyphen.
But then I remembered that the flight had free Internet. So I log in... only to have these morons try to TEXT my phone a 2FA code. On the plane.
After I got back I checked with our IT department and found that our Adobe licenses are paid up for TWO YEARS.
Despicable.
I think the same thing about the endless proliferation of Web-dev frameworks. Why bother? Just have AI write it in native JS or WebAssembly and be done with it.
1. This user even knows that the button is missing.
2. This user knows that the button would reside on the toolbar, and that the toolbar is called a "toolbar."
3. This user knows that application UIs can be customized at all, let alone to go hunting for ways to customize the toolbar.
Now remember that this user represents the majority of computer and computing-device users, who do not visit this site or sites like it.
"Liquid Glass" was unmitigated garbage from day one, but now look at the "tabs" in Safari. They're even worse; the selected tab is barely discernible. Why the mania for obscuring WTF you're looking at? It's never-ending.
There are anti-user degradations tucked away throughout the system. Another example, from the last OS: Mail now lacks a "get new mail" button. Apple DELETED that from the toolbar. WHY?
So now, when my mom is trying to log in somewhere and it says "check your E-mail for a confirmation code" or something, she can't just go to Mail and press the "get mail" button. It's just so gallingly stupid.
