Because it's somehow easier to kill the private companies instead of public ones? Show us.

If you get attacked by a nuclear state there is nit mucb you can do but attack back. Unless you want to roll over and give up.

Turns out some countries are sufficiently shit that it's worth the risk.

I was addicted to hard drugs. When in therapy I've met people there for gambling addiction. The takeout lesson was that for some people it is basically the same as stimulants. They had the same issues, fucked up their lives just as much.

So yeah it is on the scale of advertising meth.

I feel like people are trapping themselves with LLM use patterns. As OP has noted it's a pretty damn good self tutor tool, it's also great for offloading tasks you don't care about. But it will be devastating when people use it to do the important things foe them instead.

Potential bright side is that those people that will put in actual work and learn how to use AI as a complement and not replacement should have sizeable competitive advantage. LLMs are still dumb af in many ways.

And what exactly is intelligence. Because there are many aspects to usual understanding of it and ability in each of them can vary quite a bit, even though there is some transfer (and it even has a name).

And then the issue of innateness, there is so much interplay with education both formal and informal, socioeconomic status, diet, emotional state, and myriad other things that it turns out pretty quickly that it's hard to say how kuch each part contributes.

It gets pretty murky fast once you start being careful when reasoning about this.

Ukraine is provided with tech, weapons intelligence, and all kinds of equipment. You are spewing nonsense.

Have you considered that Boris could understand the situation better than you? People thinking that Russia can honor deals just baffle me.

There is no such thing as neutrality. If Ukraine cannot align with west it will mean they will be forced to be under Russia.

You seem to think that if Ukraine gives up all will be good. That Russia will play nice, try not to subjugate Ukraine fully Belarus style.

As long as Ukraine wants to be free they don't have much choice since Russia is what it is.

No. It was Russias inability to accept sovereignty of Ukraine. How is that hard to comprehend?

I'm walking as my primary mode of transport. Am abke to drive, live in city centre can reach my common destinations by foot. Public transportat for things bit further away. Car at low to mid distances is more hassle than it's worth due to parking.

Rich Ukrainians are mostly beneficiaries of corrupt Russian system. You dont remove such things overnight, all countries that were in Soviet orbit have hiccups due to that to this day.

At the same time it's clear that it's not hopeless for those nations that choose to do something about it. Which is it for Ukraine remains to be seen. They are doing the correct first steo though. So there is that.

Dudeee how far up your hind do you need to be to nit even appreciate the groundwork being laid out?

Like imagine Einstein without access to geometry work. You had others point you to number theory. What about Boole's algebra.

There is a pretty big list of seemingly useless pure math things suddenly finding a very practical use. Sometimes quite a bit later too. And we have no way of knowing beforehand.

And it's fine to not want to do such work yourself. But to dismiss it is, well, not very thoughtful.
