This exactly reminded me of the Bulgarian Weightlifting System. You get a large group of students and put them through a high-frequency and high-load system that breaks nearly everyone.

Whoever survives to the end will be a world champion.

Everyone having a common understanding of the state of the world is important and not always efficient, or even possible, to do it async. Ideally, everyone would have good response times on messages and emails, always write clearly, but this is the real world, and you can't guarantee that. Often, tickets bounce back and forth between people for weeks when a quick meeting will answer things quickly. Sometimes this is best to happen in Status meetings IMO.

I didn't even notice! That is amazing.

I also thought the screwups, although minor, were interesting. Like when it thought his face was a desk because it did not update the image it was "viewing". It is still not perfect, which made the whole thing more believable.

It worked for me and I think this is actually really informative.

However, vertical scroll, please

Used like this, it is not much different than a try-catch block

Some of these questions are similar to those questions you would see in an identify verification challenges. What is your first car, pet name, city you were born in. I am not saying this is the "only" answer, but could be one of them.

She grabbed one brain of someone called "Abby." I think their full name was actually "Abby Normal"

Exactly

I am not saying that I believe or agree with any of this just that I can see this valid research being twisted to fit a very toxic narrative that already exists.

I can see this information playing into some troubling right-wing tropes about masculinity. Basically, if you are an Alpha (High T) you won't get sick, but if you are a weak Beta (Low T) you will. Therefore, if you get sick from Covid and you are a man, you are weak and somehow deserve it.

I hope this does not play out like this and everyone is rational and compassionate, but I doubt it.

People who write Go are Gophers. People who write in Rust are Rustaceans. People who write in Beef are Beefeaters? Carnivores?

Asking the tough questions here.

This is both a hilarious and awesome idea. Too bad that 2 people in my family wake up early and two are better at staying up. On second thought, I bet we could become a bi-coastal family.

They have actually had a partnership/integration for ~2 years. Basically it comes down to using AEM as the "Glass" in front of Magento. Basically just using Magento as an API and doing all of the front-end with AEM. I know there are a couple of big sites that have gone this direction, but I think the M2 API is still not feature rich enough to make it work easily.
