Are there special circumstances with the openAI board? For a normal company the board is supposed to represent the interests of investors. If investors ask for him back the board should comply. Who's interests are the OpenAI board representing?

Do you personally know how much your employer pays in tax to employ you? I bet most people dont have any idea. I just had to look it up myself. I would never know if the rate changed provided I didnt read about it in the paper.

I doubt they would... Its not going to make someone more likely to buy their product just because they know how much is going to tax.

Musk is defaulting, student loan forgiveness is the taxpayer picking up the tab. A better question would be if those people think students should be able to default on their loans.

"In addition, there is a problem specific to medical practices - you can't just hand them over to your kid!"

- Doctors partner with the person that will take over their practice for years before retiring. PE is destroying this system and the latest crop of doctors will lose out on mentorship and the opportunity to run a practice. Everything will become big corporate offices and everyone will suffer

So your opinion seems to be that investigations can never be political? Keep in mind that Trump is being indicted for a misdemeanor that they are contorting into a felony to avoid statute of limitations issue. I think everyone has to make up their own mind when an investigation is political and imho this one is comically so. So much so that i really struggle to see how any one can in good faith claim otherwise

8 years of investigations, two special prosecutor, two impeachments 3-4 non federal investigations all for different crimes... its almost comical to list all of that out and still have people think this isnt purely political.

But also bank failures are disinflationary so is the bailout negating the rate hikes or just negating the new regime of tighter lending standards by banks? I dont think anyone has a solid answer to that question

Totally agree. That should be and has to some extent been made public. The China portion of the story is a complete mystery.

I strongly disagree that they are not doing anything special. They are literally going out into remote bat caves and harvesting coronaviruses and bringing them into large population centers to study.
