I could see someone making a set of videos of themselves wearing different clothing and just looping it on a screen driven by raspberry pi in front of the webcam.
This all looks like a challenge to me.
I have been a dad for 18 years and am about to have my 7th kid. I read lots of different kids books to them, but usually when they are about 5 they start to love it when I read Grimms's Fairy Tales (before that they are bored when they hear them).
They nick name them the Death stories, and kinda laugh about how it is crazy they are stories for kids (so much disappointment when they make . But, damn if they don't always want to hear them all the time.
What is nice is there is nothing sugary sweet about them, and there are great lessons to untangle from the stories. Sometimes the lesson though is that sometimes bad stuff just happens, and you have to deal with it.
It also has a sliver of a view of how people long ago saw things and what was important then, and what still is important today.
We are almost through our second lap through the book, and I could see another lap or two through it as our next child comes into listening to it, then maybe I'll be reading it to my grandchildren.
Wish granted. Now the game takes 2 times as long to release, costs 3 times as in labor to create, and 25% of the customer base will not be able to run it on their machine for performance and storage reasons.
Because graphic fidelity wasn't as important for the game as just quickly understanding what is going on in the game, users are having a harder time parsing what they see and are unhappy.
You blew your budget, and didn't grow your userbase (at least not significantly - you already were the premier citybuilder on steam), and now you are bankrupt and are no longer able to do maintenance updates on the abandoned game.
Lesson: sometimes there be tradeoffs.
Upside: your dead game now has a soul
Humans have been doing it for decades.
People should be running LLMs on their own systems to test them.
The flaws are there whether they are seen by ai or not.
This is so on purpose.
This is more like the engineering team scales to match your budget.
It is why successful companies, when starting out and getting to their defining project completion state have significantly less engineers then 10 years later when they are massively more successful.
The cost of having the engineers is nothing compared to the profits, so why not hire more so you can defend your position. Are 80% of them needed to keep the system going, I think Elon showed that you can prune most of them away and the system will keep humming along (ignoring some initial problems). The trouble is bureaucracy, lack of technical knowledge at the top, and the hazy difficulty of identifying what is needed is really difficult, and if you mess it up, you could ruin a billion dollar business to save a hundred million dollars in salaries.
That is the crux of it. You can't know who to cut, and even if you are really good at it, you will still create problems and create ill will. Elon was pretty successful, but it did have some momentary problems. If his negative cult of personality didn't get in the way, it would have been better off.
The original prompts might have had something interesting to say, but it is so layered with filler and platitudes that it is just a waste.
After being burned enough times, we hunt around for signals that an article is about to waste our time.
Not all articles with AI images are LLM written, but almost all LLM written articles have AI images.
The author is telling you a hueristic is that people are using, and for this person here, I am totally doing it.
A picture of a napkin doodle at this point is superior.
Seems like a set of people that suddenly made themselves really useful.
...
You can also look at lots of events that trigger wars where the side looking to get into the war seems to have a very convenient tragic even to validate their entry into a war.
Or situations where people make other dependent on them so they can constantly save them from not being able to be independent.
Or people who like to pick fights try to make it so someone will do something that will unwittingly offend them.
The world is full of setups, many subconsciously created, so that one person can be the hero or main character in their own narrative.
Heck we even do it to ourselves when we procrastinate so much that we have to save ourselves with Herculean effort to get something done on time.
They generally get their point across and then rattle on for more time than I am interested in reading.
Guess I'm part of the post literate world. I also perfer short stories instead of novels.
It doesn't just cut cans, it cuts tomatos too. You would think you have to sharpen it, but you don't.
Not just this, but that.
Sounds nothing like a normal succenct engineer.
In the end it is all being used to track and control us.

Never truer words ever spoken. And yet we keep slipping down this slope again and again and again and it seems there is never a way to climb back out.
