Your average large corp like Microsoft has the majority of it's employees stuck in meetings all day.

Now I don't know if I missed this feature in Claude Code or not but I don't believe it has technology for enhancing people's ability to sit around all day doing nothing. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Mass pumping out slightly dodgy code is more of a startup strategy.

For reference the number #1 affected country is the US. It just consumes so much more oil per capita then anyone else and unlike some other countries can't close it's oil import/exports due to logistical reasons.

Generally speaking, static typing is the great enabler of writing bad Python code.

As soon as static typing is introduced into a Python code based, the developers start writing unscalable coding patterns that don't scale to larger programs.

Not really, I measured it.

Typing prevents 1 minor bug per developer per year reaching the testing environment.

It costs 2x development time to use. (With LLMs it's doubles token usage, very measurable)

It's not actually a sane trade-off.

Mass migration is a core Conservative policy. Even Reform made up of ex-Conservatives has agreed to mass migration in talks with their donors.

Importing people rather than investing in the locals is a core right wing belief in the UK.

Well the density goes down the larger the black hole so the extra states are still missing.

For exactly how that works, I'm a Comp Sci not a Physicist.

A 3d volume can contain a number of states equal to it's 2d dimensional surface.

All the extra states you would assume the 3d volume can contain are actually a single state called Black Hole.

There is a limit to how much you can fill a 3d volume before it's a Black Hole basically.

That's an artifact of it not using A-Z as it's alphabet. What you type gets translated before the AI sees it. The seventeen word the AI sees does only contain three 'e' s.

The AI numbers only work if it replaces white collar work.

Power tools for knowledge workers, which is what we are getting, isn't enough to save it.

Well no because it works by joining together existing novel insights.

You haven't really the addressed the point of the US not being trusted.

Even if the EU becomes far right, far right governments don't work or trust each other. What you are saying is moot.

This is suppose to be a tech forum.

With enough solar panels, wind turbines and batteries it's completely possible to run an countries grid off renewables.

Right now the costs for doing so are around the same as the costs of running an oil / gas / coal power grid.

For the average country, not slowly switching over is basically madness.

I didn't mention anything? But I'll answer your question anyway.

Be it software, artwork, essays, graphic design or movie clips. There is a market for shipping cheap junk.

Well assuming it's successful, there will be a large number of companies who's value will be reassessed as the token cost to replicate and run the business.

Multi-million dollar companies will be reduced into multi thousand dollar companies.

The CEOs will be replaced with teenagers in garages with their parent's credit cards.

If it stalls, then China will undercut the whole AI market with cheap electricity and crash the US stock market.

So what exactly is the win scenario here?
