This is what monopoly power looks like, when a channel (search, social ads) are controlled by single players

It's not super far fetched to come to approximation, conservation of energy and all that, the main variability people in energy expenditure comes from activity.

Get population averages of base metabolic rate based on sex/weight/age etc. Get base heart rate. When heart rate increases due to activity, estimate what activity and intensity and use weight to estimate activity expenditure on top of base. A lot of assumptions of course which make these tend to be inaccurate but if the assumptions are right then methodology is not that unsound.

I noticed these and have now become blind to these

which is exactly why the AI push and brand harm from the CEO is so baffling, it is in essence an email service based on privacy and trust, what is the point of pushing AI so hard. Wonder if the CEO has some sort of AI psychosis, I prefer products branded on privacy/security to not take the 'move fast and break things' route

There's some debate but it's kinda settled, it's the pinnacle of motorsports so no driver aids, they are moving away from hybrids, realizing road car relevance/parity is no longer the direction

Imo kinda more respectful if the person is clearly deceased, to not remove clothes and attach probes to them

while that is true, a big core of runescape was the grind. I remember what an idiot I felt like after finding the forums spending time picking bananas for 25 gold as a 7 year old. Back then games were simpler and less stuff to compete with longer attention spans

Quite probable that OAI at least is building one, given all the posts about bots hammering sites and the agent swarm hacks all about to trying to game search query results

As I understand it they thought there was a chance Nvidia would settle, since the lawyers worked on contingency instead of telling him not to waste his time

Apart from those throw your CV into AI get guidance on how to make it more relevant to the roles you apply for, tailoring CVs is now table stakes when everyone does it. You don't agree blindly or copy verbatim with the AI but just as critique

I think they are referring to the opportunity cost of time saved on doing things a local model cannot do or fixing it's mistakes against the cost of a subscription

Try this if you have access to Claude Design, go to sites you like, grab the html/css and a few screenshot and ask it to build a project, it makes an almost 1:1 reproduction. place those files into ur frontend project

Really damn, 4.6 was my go to for some topics and more straight forward coding stuff.

Fable was unable to keep track of chronology during 10-15 turn creative writing. compare to coding I reckon less than 100k token context, super surprising
