Bottle feeding infants is a tragedy as it deprives them of an essential emotional experience they are intended to receive. Also, breast milk has miraculous healing properties and immune support functions.

While we're on the topic, breast milk can be squirted on wounds or irritated tissues for instant relief.

Look at those pictures. Shame on all who are involved in non-human research. These beings belong in the rain forest, not a plastic box inside a laboratory!

Biologically dead? A foolhardy assertion for anyone to make. Nature is nothing if not robust! I have no doubt that at the minimum microbial life has been flourishing throughout, with many other beings likely hiding from view.

New laws mean forcing others to conform to our expectations of their behavior. This is only acceptable when there is a broad social consensus about the necessity of the law. There is no such consensus regarding how social media should operate.

It's never a good sign when the government mandates the destruction (or abandonment) of usable goods.

Another shameful footnote in the war on drugs.

Putting what we choose into our own body is a basic human right. Mutually consentual exchanges of goods or services is a basic human right. All victims of these actions are victims of human rights abuses. Part of the global awakening is recognizing this, and rejecting the so-called government's authority to imprison people participating in voluntary exchanges.

If we are concerned about the nature of the goods or services being exchanged, we need to remember that our right to impose on others' freedom comes about only when they engage in direct violence.

Why is this a problem? Why are we trying to manipulate Facebook's hiring practices? We may not like it, but they should be free to hire whomever they please.

This person's experience is not universal and mostly applies to the least desirable tier of programming jobs. A proper list would contain a mention of the physical effects of long term computer use, artificial lighting, plastic-y environments, and the like.

"Facebook does not moderate content in a way that I approve of" is a long way off from "incriminating"

What can be done by the government? Or by individuals taking responsibility for their families?

This is the same story as every other large government initiative. Wasteful and often counterproductive to the stated goal. Trees plant themselves, ya'll! If we stop cutting them down they'll do fine.

Conscious beings must not be subject to these cruel experiments, or any experiments we wouldn't ourselves submit to.
