That doesn't explain why you don't see people collapsing in the UK all over the place.

I would think that there must be something about these individuals, aside from being dark skinned, that makes them more prone to issues.

How is it possible that the football player mentioned in the article can suffer from a deficiency level that's severe enough to collapse?

I would expect that regularly being outside (for practice) and a normal balanced diet would be sufficient to at least get by in a country like the UK. Some depressive/lower energy symptoms during winter time, maybe, but nothing so severe as collapsing.

Shouldn't this problem show up in a much larger portion of the population? Or do very physically active individuals require more Vitamin D?

We do at least have CAA records that you can use to tell clients to only accept TLS certificates from specific CAs for your hostnames, but ideally that would be opt-out rather than opt-in.

It's important to see news like "serial killer active in town XYZ" but that doesn't mean that it's a positive event.

It sucks that sellers cannot offer their products for cheaper elsewhere, but I've also often seen sellers sell their products for a much higher price on their own website than Amazon, and in that case why wouldn't I buy it on Amazon instead?

In that sense having one big marketplace with all kinds of competing products together also seems to motivate sellers more to compete on price rather than relying on lazy consumers.

I like your dog trick analogy, that definitely helped me understand it more :)

Surely a lot of this can be experienced by associating with parents and their children rather than having them yourself, right?

This may sound somewhat reductive, and please correct me if that is the case, but I find that I can be around and play with my nephew and experience all of this wonder and how he progresses through life, while not being around for the sleepless nights and tantrums that I feel are the "work" part of being a parent.

Am I missing sarcasm here? Minecraft was developed in 2011 and Java was conceived in 1995; it was (already) an extremely mature and popular language at the time.

What is the advantage of this compared to Dear Imgui?

There is: your browser or other type of client does not know it can repeat a POST request if it fails, whereas a QUERY request can be freely repeated in case of errors.

One does not need to be able to create it themselves to evaluate if the output is correct. Consider for example that you can easily determine if a meal tastes delicious without being an expert chef, or the fact that NP problems are very difficult to solve but make for easily verifiable solutions.

You can use ONNXRuntime with a TensorRT backend, so one does not exclude the other.

What exactly is the opposite side? Is it actively managing a portfolio? Because most people don't have the time to do that.

Are we reading the same reddit thread? It looks like most of the people in the comments are against the decision.
