Not a dig at Karpathy, I like him and the thing is nice to have, but the amount of glaze he receives for essentially a curated video playlist sourced off of a pre-configured list is unprecedented, to the point where people are ready to praise him for the way he sneezes.

Just a rumor, but I heard it could be connected to the Binance hack. Unplausible, bit the implications of that are beyond horrifying

There is a number of things one could do to reduce the share of made up info in the generated text, yet at the end of the day, to guarantee 100% factual accuracy of the informal prose output, a human has to go and manually check every single claim. No other way, just the nature of LLMs.

A recently released tool by devault: https://devault-ascii.pages.dev/ascii-generator/

Its not as elegant or ethereal as the hand-crafted stuff, but for us mere mortals, with little to no artistic ability it could prove useful in certain design endeavors.

Holding decentralized currency on centralized exchanges defeats the purpose of it being decentralized in the first place. Which is why we saw a massive adoption of DeFi and DEXs across the whole industry. CEXs (centralized exchanges) have been getting hacked left and right since their very inception much before LLMs even existed, let alone gained sufficient capabilities to perform such attacks. Mostly due to human error and social engineering, yet they remain the industry entry point for like 80% of both retail and institutions.
