However, I always wonder, does the browser really need to understand this syntax? (I feel `function` is too much for just stylesheet)

Ultimately, what we want to represent is a DOM tree. The format doesn't matter. So we should send a computer-friendly, pre-compiled data structure that the browser can use directly. memcpy is faster than parse.

For me, it was news that showed the cleverness of chacha's choice to use the "expand 32-byte k" ASCII byte sequence as a constants.

Rather, China is dumping EVs at a national level. EVs don't generate profits, and entering this market now would only result in huge losses. so under normal business judgment, companies wouldn't enter the EV car market. They can only be produced when subsidies and tariffs are guaranteed to protect them.

I had no idea Windows was like this now. (I never use the Snap feature)

This is funny. If you're going to worry about gaps like this, wouldn't it be better to just not have the corners in the first place?

Pathetically, people probably won't even erase cookie, let alone JavaScript. To begin with, any websites are not designed to be viewable without js. There are countless ways to find fingerprints. It is impossible to prevent tracking anyway in current the internet.

That's right. Nobody wants EVs, and even if there is a niche demand, Chinese companies are dumping them at a national level. (look at the Europe plight)

They'll pretend to sell EVs to keep their options open, but they won't actually sell any.

https://www.eclipse.org/articles/Article-UI-Guidelines/Conte...

In 2004, the Eclipse IDE established consistent UI guidelines, built upon a cross-platform GUI library. API desgin is great, Looks and feels robust. The future of desktop GUIs looked bright. Little did we know that 25 years later it would turn out to be such a disaster.

I still like the idea of source code as documentation and unit tests as documentation. While revising code written by an LLM to make it easier for humans to understand is now a controversial practice, I believe it's worthwhile in a lot of case.

My definition of AGI is a computer that can support itself, just turn it on, and it'll earn enough money to pay the server's electricity bills, hire people to maintain and expand its servers, and even improve its own algorithms.

I'd love to see someone try to run one that can meet 100% of the world's demand for remote works.

If it's `untrusted_filename`, it should at least accept the length of the string as an argument.

Just convert it to a binary data structure suitable for this purpose and use the old-fashioned bsearch. It's so simple that you wouldn't even need SQLite.

It's fun. This new market could become a new source of funding to support the AI bubble.

> The bug only affects databases in WAL mode when there are two or more database connections open on the same file, in separate threads or processes

To be honest, I'm surprised that someone using SQLite would try to access it directly from multiple threads or processes without fear of data racing.
