France is spiraling into a debt whirlpool needing to use debt to pay off debt, basically having no good way to resolve the issue without a lot of pain (“austerity”). Any politician with enough foresight to do what needs to be done gets removed, so those that remain are selected for their thick foreheads.

What’s more fun is that while france is teetering on the brink, it’s hardly alone, and it’s collapse will tip the dominoes.

Something to look forward to, I guess.

Sadly it looks like this got knocked out of the front page listings quickly so I never even saw it until someone mentioned it.

Definitely consider doing a Reddit AMA in an animation sub (and link it here)

Oh bummer, I never even saw it listed.

It’s difficult to say, because there are plenty of fairly horrible examples where an entire nation gets trapped in a culture that actively masters over generations how to punish honesty and reward corruption. Russia being an example.

Please reconsider what you think is respectful, because that was just straight up multiple personal insults.

I can’t speak for him, but I regularly reword replies after a minute of consideration or if I manage to think to myself “is this as kind as I intend to be to others” during it’s formation.

Personally, I don’t really find “all my kids got murdered, it’s fine I’ll just make more” to be the sort of thing that fills me with peace and inspiration.

While I find nature “beautiful” certainly, I also find myself rather dissatisfied with it being a horrific trap of nonstop callous selfish violence, at a scale beyond human capacity to ever understand or accept.

That’s a fair consideration to bring up.

Now that’s interesting, thanks for bringing it up.

I have no idea what that means, or what the consequences would be for choosing one or the other.

> I only discovered this after my daughter lost a year of work in Minecraft due to data corruption, and I tried to teach her the value of backing up.

Ouch, sorry for her loss.
