Probably less than most ad tech or generic SaaS companies.

The point of react is to let you manipulate the DOM with less effort than manually doing it while providing some additional controls through things like hooks. Tailwind is similar, you get standardized css styles that you can use without thinking too hard.

PowerToys run and fancy zones are very useful and people should use them. I wish Microsoft would put more effort into Run though. Compared to something like Raycast on Macos or Krunner it feels more limited.

What's the differentiator for this? Tighter integration into their other offerings?

Splunk is so expensive and slow. My workplace keeps trying throttle queries and how far back logs are stored. Been spending the last month or so adding ELK stack for tracing to our apps.

I can see the logic of rucking but is it safe on your joints? I walk a lot of exercise daily and this seems like a good way to make it more efficient.

Well the famous joke is "Emacs is an OS that lacks a decent text editor." (Yes Evil mode exists)

Emacs can do basically anything you write an extension for it to do. It can be your calendar, your email client, your rss reader or even your git gui on top of being an editor. Emacs can do so much that it's daunting to start using.

Perhaps a new type of emacs. A "terminal" environment that can load web pages, videos etc and is cross platform seems like it has potential.

You're probably right. I just wish there was an easier way to handle json on the command line that didn't turn into its own dsl. The golang scripting seems interesting, might be what motivates me to learn the language.

Why does it have to be bash+python? I'm finding myself using node.js scripts glued together by bash ones these days unless I'm working on a lot of data. Doing that means you can work with json natively.
