I don’t know — the proof’s in the pudding but I’m not buying a slice to find out.

Vibe coding pro tip: do not let the AI write the copy on your front page.

I’m not paying a dime for something that reads like slop. I’m assuming the engineering is to the same standards.

I don’t think you’d need the masses. They’ll be signing up one family group at a time. Tech savvy users will convince their parents to join for pics of the grandchildren - who’s gonna say no?

At least some enterprise IDS /AFW could presumably have a signature configured for this traffic scenario.

For a deployed server, yes, you’d probably need to first get inside their network, then using some other exploit or social engineering, cause the server to reboot and then provoke this vulnerability and gain a persistent shell on the server.

This may sound like a movie-plot threat in 2020, but perhaps in 2026 it’s less unlikely?

There’s also the theft scenario, as indicated in the article, or the supply chain attack scenario. I don’t know how feasible it would be for a buyer to validate the integrity of the hardware they just racked up if they can’t trust secure boot?

Can you play Netflix or Disney+ in a browser on Linux in full 4K and HDR?

I remember that being a problem in the past, that you were limited to lower resolutions.

I believe Mistral models are fairly capable at cybersecurity tasks, but I don’t think you could get anything useful out of anything smaller than Mistral Large 4.

Let’s see how much longer foreign talent continues to be attracted to US universities. Lots of PDHs have been deported already.

It’s fairly safe to say that every user who still didn’t upgrade to 27 by now, has made an active choice to postpone the upgrade.

A suggestion: write the reader yourself next time you’re launching a product/project. It’s painful to always be reading this Claudeish prose.

That’s not what lobbying is, though. If have “no dog in the fight”, you are unlikely to try to influence a politician any which way. Lobbyists appear because someone with money is willing to pay for the lobbyist to apply their talents, and why would they if they had no “dog in the fight”?

Surely their purpose is both? I haven’t read the specific stipulations Rodin put on this museum he founded but I assume he didn’t mean for them to not display his works.

TBF the food places here that have photos on the menus are either chain restaurants or really bad fast food. In the latter case, the photos are flat, grey and unappetizing. (Because food photography is hard.)

Good restaurant in my locale do not have photos of their food.

I suppose the AI possibilities mean that the bad fast food places will start having decent (fake) photos which doesn’t really make that much of a difference to me.

LLM driven agents aren’t even that.

How about they: 1. Don’t want hack competitors launching products using their code 2. Don’t want the resulting fracture in the community

If I were Signal I wouldn’t want either of those.
