Postman management is something else. I remember a few years ago, once they had that VC money, they made it so you had to log/pushed you to. funny, considering it's basically a GUI for curl and then they spent a ton of money on some party with famous singers or something.

A bit sad, but I guess that’s the new normal.

This is nice, I have been lurking on google and meta rust projects, mimicking and picking style by prompting LLMs to distill it, taking a look at fmt & clippy configs helps too.

But it wasn't as coherent and reliable from project to project like this guide. Kudos to google on this one !

it's not my angle, https://x.com/adamscochran/status/2105090249445769519, and tbh it's the only simple logic explanation.

I always thought of Schneider Electric as a German-based company, but apparently, it's French :o

On the more interesting side, they've been piling on acquisitions recently in the industrial space (Cognite Holding: data and AI for industry).

I'm guessing they're gearing up for a more aggressive fight in the industrial space with Autodesk, Siemens, SAP, and Dassault.

Market doesn't seem to be taking this very well, Schneider Electric is down 9% so it's a mixed bag: execution in the industrial sector is hard, and Schneider Electric doesn't have a reputation as a smooth "operator" when it comes to integration

What the author describes is the standard now at all "too big to fail" companies. These companies works in a way where you need to distinguish yourself or you die (even if you're competent), which tends to empower the extrovert with ego/cheek. The slop potion is only a catalyst for this kinda of culture.

There is still hope, but in some cases we are on the real edge of an industrial catastrophe. And by "real" I mean physical (i.e : trains / cars / factories / banks that could go sideways cause of this BS wave).

Indeed I am a random, but does it make me less qualified than another random ? (look up ^ )

Vercel sloping it's way to clout again, they do this every month or so, clearly they want to stay in the news and some how credible and relevant.

I can't think of any serious company or project that would use this thing.

P.S: I just checked the contributors list, I have the utmost respect to them (notably simonw), but clearly this code is claude'ish but it is not among the contributor which makes it even more suspect.

"native", checks inside "web engines".

So this is another CVE? Or am I misreading this one? "Copy‑fail", "DirtyFrag", now "IUrinegOnYou :)"?

Joke aside, we'll see more CVEs in the coming months, and in a sense that's good: it leaves less maneuvering room for bad actors (especially those selling them to the highest bidder).
