>This may change if charisma starts to be perceived as the key to winning.

So, in other words, this submission is a survey of the people who don't want Trump to win?

They also don't give a damn about the old flag at all, which really is the problem. My parents had a flagpole and they never once flew the NZ flag on it. I think a little patriotism is deserved: NZ is a pretty good place to live. We don't need to go overboard but we're one of the few places on earth that struggles to work up enthusiasm in the first place so we're in no danger of being a little America.

Which makes the current selection of silver ferns and red peak the most tragic thing of all about this. It has just enough veneer of democracy to mislead people into making it a left/right war and the end result is that we'll have to wait another 20-30 years to do something that gets support from across the board, regardless of our two previous PMs being in favor of changing our defaced ensign.

>we wish to ensure we can provide a fair playing field for all participating players

By restricting access to performance enhancing drugs to those who have the connections to get around the screens that the ESL end up using to try and catch people?

Here's a radical thought: it's a fair playing field if everyone takes adderal before the match.

Except that the exact phrasing is "useful Arts", which refers to documenting technical skills like manufacture and craftsmanship. The original legal climate with regard to fiction was heavily pro piracy. Not even Charles Dickens managed to make much of a dent in attitudes over a half century later.

That's a really misleading rhetorical question. Attic actors wore masks and were expected to melt into their roles; what would you say if an Attican asked you "How many theatrical technicians do you remember?" Something more appropriate would be "How many playwrights do you remember?" Many poets not only wrote their own scripts but also directed them, having bigger roles than our famous contemporaries. History notes quite a few. I can name four right off the top of my head: Aristophanes, Aeschylus, Diogenes (different man from the philosopher) and Euripides.

Ah, that's unfortunate.

As someone who knows someone else's PIN: if they're too inconvenienced by making the payment themselves and don't realize what security it's meant to offer, they'll be quite content to hand the card and the PIN to someone they trust.

Which bank are you with? One of the few things that annoyed me about NBNZ was the utter lack of security with setting the pin and online banking password.

What makes you think we will get said trade deal with the US?

The AI was not let out of the box, and you're saying that it wouldn't convince you? This only sounds like an argument that Eliezer was right in not posting his logs.

The design causes far worse bugs than that, for example: you can stop a falling block's progress just by holding down left.
