If you go to settings and disable Siri AI and Siri and then re-enable it you get the option "Try Siri AI" and "Use Siri Classic". This disabled most AI features from what I can see. The only one it didn't was notification prority.

By default finder search searches all files rather than the current folder. You have to go to finder preferences to change it.

Yeah, I’ve definitely seen this sentiment in the retro tech community.

I think hobbiests do not have that much free time to create these tools for retro computers. AI is a great tool for this, as it saves time so people can make projects that would otherwise not exist.

I remember arguing with someone on Reddit who said they’d rather not have the tool if it was made by AI, which I thought was a crazy take.

Unfortunately it seems like by design on IOS there is no way to make an IOS blocker you cannot disable relatively easily. I would love a way to have a DNS blocker that you need a password to disable but it seems like this isn't possible. Every blocking app you can simply delete and the block goes away.

I tried to leave Windows 11 for Linux - it just didn't work for me. I installed EndeavourOS onto my main gaming desktop. It worked great for a while and ran all the games I played with my friends. However, one night when I went on to play a game I ran a system update and it seemed to completely break my nvidea drivers - I tried reinstalling them and also using the open source driver. This meant I just couldn't play any games that night and was simply diagnosing linux issues.

I probably chose the wrong distro for this but I really just want the PC to work for playing games without any issues. I don't use it for anything other than playing games so for my time I just went back to Windows 10 and will use that until apps stop working.

It wasn’t so bad when it was still control centre - I had used it for at least 15 years and knew the placement of everything. Ever since it became system settings I get lost every time I open the app.

I'm going to start purging anything I store on the cloud. I'm not doing anything illegal, but why does the government want to treat me like I am.

They really missed the opportunity to show a gorilla or something when you flip the camera.
