The Do Not Dry symbol is only used in conjunction with a Do Not Wash symbol, i.e. don't get this wet, and don't heat it.

The article speaks extensively about both of those movies.

The script on the computer checks to see if the smart plug is on or off. Depending on the state, the script blocks or unblocks the websites. The smart plug is just acting as a button that is connected to your WiFi.

True, I might just be inventing a problem for a solution. Maybe it would be useful for rugged long-term trekking situations, but with the size and efficiency of solar, that might not even be necessary either.

Digital displays draw a lot of energy, and need to be bright enough to be visible in direct sunlight. A more advanced version of this could increase the battery life of a camera substantially.

I'd suggest using checkboxes instead of radio buttons for the operator selection. It would be useful, I think, to have a mix of just addition and subtraction, or just multiplication and division, instead of having one option or all four.

Egypt has been low-risk for malaria for some time. This declaration is from the WHO:

WHO declares a nation as a ‘malaria-free’ upon receiving valid proof that the Anopheles mosquito-borne native malaria transmission chain has been broken for at least the previous three years on a national level. A country must also demonstrate the capacity to prevent the re-establishment of transmission.

In June 2024, the WHO confirmed that there was no local transmission of malaria in Egypt, with all identified cases being imported from endemic countries. Egypt’s robust surveillance system was instrumental in early case detection, facilitated by collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Neighbouring countries to the south have a high risk for malaria, but Egypt has had significant efforts to eliminate the disease since the '40s.

Or maybe we could tackle the root of the problem, avoid waste that doesn't decompose on the human timescale.

I believe ozone depletion reduced between 2015 and now, so we're back to headed in the right direction. While much of the world adhered to the CFC ban, China had a brief resurgence of usage that created a temporary increase in depletion.

Sure, but there's also the value that the users create using these apps, and drive engagement to reddit. Not to mention the insane amount of volunteer mod work, many of who use unofficial apps.

You need an API key to access the reddit API. There's no MITM, it's just that requests made through Apollo are tracked to Apollo. And Apollo will be charged for those requests.

The developers aren't asking for a free API, just one that is justified based on reddit's costs.

The Province of Ontario made half a billion in cannabis revenue last year from legal sales. There are provisions allowed for private growing. Some people go beyond and grow more than they're allowed, but this has been a huge success, financially, for the government here.
