I was talking to a very drunk Republican girl the other day. We were having a small argument about why we would send medical support to Africa for AIDS. Her argument was something about fixing America first (I was also drunk).

I asked if she regretted her vote for Trump after several people she knew lost their government contracting jobs, and she said "No, fuck that guy, I didn't vote for him."

It's not really similar to your idea, but your idea unlocked a memory of playing Gizmos and Gadgets as a kid.

Edit: So I decided to go and play it on an online archive site. It's just as fun as I remember.

As an Android user, I sometimes feel like I should be a protected class.

But I get cheaper DoorDash orders, so that's good enough for me.

You're not wrong. But if I'm paying $70 for a game, I'm definitely going to be annoyed if the trees look like they were pulled from Ocarina of Time.

I have an ongoing chat in chatGPT where it's instructed to every once in a while ignore my question and just respond with "Shut up, nerd."

Now I'm curious about training a bot on my IRC logs from the early 2000s.

It'd be like a chat time machine. I'd love to go back and bullshit with long-lost online friends about modding Halo:CE on Xbox again.

It's basically social suicide for kids now.

But it's great for people like me, because I'm much less likely to be added to a family group text.

Insane, terrifying, incredible, etc.

We're rapidly stumbling into the future of media.

Who would've imagined a year ago that trivial AI image generation would not only be this advanced, but also this pervasive in the mainstream.

And now video is already this good. We'll have full audio/video clips within a month.

My crypto project is powered by D batteries.

I don't know how dense they are, but they're pretty heavy.

I imagine having access to the user analytics of this site is one of the most anxiety-inducing states of being known to man.

Just make sure your notebooks don't get too hot.
