What isn't true is that it completely dissolves. There are parts that don't and are part of the rescaffolding process. One of those bits that does not completely dissolve is a chunk of the brain; it is probably via this that memory persists through the metamorphosis.

Depending on your needs. I'm not sure it's that cut and dry. For developer experience I don't find it very good. My System76 laptop provides a better experience.

I think this is one of those cases where there is no objectively "right" opinion. Tailwind exists for a reason and got a market for a reason. That doesn't mean it is always used in the places it's most helpful or that people don't misuse it (or simply not understand the complexity beast that is CSS). That's just the nature of any popular tool

At what point is that the case? When a package is built, it's version is determined at that moment from whatever dynamic source, and is then written into the metadata in a static way (or surely could be if for some weird reason it isn't).
