I think what a lot of developers want is a kind of LTS release model that they can build a product over for 4 years and not worry about deprication.

Though it probably will need experimental confirmation, which currently AI cannot do.

A hyper inquisitive 13 year old was never the target market of universities anyways. Historically they've always done very well.

SWE2 is post trained apparently on Kimi 3. Using it now on Devin, as it's free until the end of the month for a pro account (hey, $20 a month), and it's pretty strong. If I had to pay for tokens I'm not sure how efficient it would be, but definitely Kimi 3 seems a great base. I co-code with ChatGPT 6 and between the three of us it's pretty effective.

So interested to see what the Kimi 3.1 has to offer.

But I mean what are you saying really? An iPhone absolutely doesn't allow you to just randomly install stuff from the web unless there's been some update that I don't know about.

A couple of interesting things:

No, it's specifically just certain app windows. If it was a hardware failure, we would expect the whole physical display to flicker.

Everyone is different and we shouldn't judge them.

Right I'm still on 15.5. But random app windows flicker! FLICKER! And it's a brand new 2025 M4 MacBook Air. This is the kind of thing I would expect from like Linux in say 1998?

If we pay for the machine, I think we have a basic right to decide which AIs go on it and which ones don't.

But I wonder what you mean by "too AI". Are you just bitter about ai? Or are you evaluating it as an actual finance simulator?

Would it be possible to just focus on the project rather than on LLMs?

You'd think halting or reversing aging would be on this list...
