I use Jev for my app (Greer - open source tool to build a community from 0), to sort things fast and cheap, and i think that's the best way to use it, for software and redundant tasks at scale. the rest an llm could do it better.
A few things caught my attention: - Why the weather tile on first screen ? - The 1 on 1 meetup probably is from coming of good will, but do you really expect to meet someone you've never met before to go some place with you? For women especially, it sounds shady ngl, but "might" work for men - Takes time to "trust" people and by the time you trust them enough you'll call them friends
Most apps (timeleft), and events (running groups, activities, etc) nowadays are using the group part to meet people, you should probably investigate that part a bit more
I had a look at your site, github replica looks impressive good job !
I'm a gitea user myself, hosting it on Coolify; it's lightweight and works like a glove (at least for what I want: a lightweight self hostable git)
I'm not sure where your edge sits, is it on the github-api? I'm pretty sure gitlab, gitea also have it so it'd be hard If it's on availability: 1. it's hard to compete on that with a self hosted server 2. I'm not sure it's a high enough pain for people to switch to something like that, most people are ok/used to having services down or slow for a few minutes (ex: claude down, you just take a break)
Might be wrong tho, keep asking around, good luck :)
Also, who do you plan on targeting with this promising project? like idk if the average ai user nowadays would like to bother with self hosting everything, but i might be wrong
i feel like a more enterprise oriented scope could interest more ppl
