They could at least post the actual memo... especially after a header that says "What's the thing say?". Bloviating clickbait nonsense like this doesn't deserve to be here.

If you click this link expecting to read the memo you'll be disappointed as its 95% about what the author thinks about it.

Could be macros or forced inline helpers that get copy/pasted everywhere. It may be a more pleasant interface for engineers working with it.

Haha yeah. A clever lad you have.

I think you're onto something. The delta between switch and the other consoles certainly allows for some laziness. It probably hurts the scope of games meant for all consoles.

Well it helped me understand the source of the strange flag.

I wonder if his Doug Lea is THE Doug Lea of dlmalloc. I learned so much from his documentation about it.

From the way you're writing, you'll fit right in with the 'business people' since they dont have any clue half the time either.

Nintendo manages to squeak out a margin on hardware unlike the other big players. However, this is only because they trail behind in specs, and their devices are simply cheaper.

You need to credit someone for "hey lets use solar panels to shade things that would benefit from shade"?

I am also NAL, but out of curiosity does OPs post detailing the obfuscation transgress any laws?

If the security measures exist in plain sight, as they apparently do, are they allowed to be discussed?

I reckon that if OP posts the encoder/decoder software that'd be against some sort of license clause. However in the age of AI who cares about the software at this point? Anyone can prompt their own private version into existence.

Just thinking out loud here. I have not considered AIs use as personal "cheat engines".

To do your question justice would take a while but its quite an interesting story to google. The gist: We did not have confirmation of where NA/EU freshwater eels laid their eggs until 2022. No one has ever seen them reproduce. This mystery is also old: Aristotle wrote about it. They have been an enigma for a long period of human history despite being an important part of it!
