The logical conclusion for republicans is to import their own illegals (east germans, venezualians, etc) and play the same game.

Actually, Texas is leading the way on Solar and it has been exploding under the Trump administration too. California has too much regulations and grifting to scale solar compared to Texas, so hopefully we see a pivot from the left soon.

This is excellent for us Americans. As LLMs and Robotics scale, the need for immigration will continue to drop.

I'd love to see benchmarks on Decisions API vs an actual LLM call.

Luna is so cheap it's borderline free (without tool use), so I'm struggling to figure out where to use this/Jev.

For example product categorization. Why 'risk' using this/Jev when a Luna LLM call will be smarter (in theory)?

Spent a few months building a product scraper using a mad mash up of various LLMs, OCR, etc. The pricing for their providers is 3x-8x higher than something like Luna 5.6 w/ Web Search. Not sure what their differentiator is, unless they just wanted to launch something.

Elon Musk supports it and will be the main beneficiary if it succeeds. That's it.

It's interesting the ChatGPT referrals conversions match Googles. Shows once they tune a few knobs, they could have a cashcow on their hands.

Instead of blaming the energy supply restrictions those states have imposed, the politicians are now blaming datacenters.

99.9% of all mass in the solar system is the Sun, a giant nuclear reactor. No one should ever accept energy conservation.

This is great news for gaming. Xbox, which has ruined Halo, Gears of War, Mass Effect, and countless other IPs, needs to be burnt to the ground.

Private enterprise is vastly more competitive than public institutions in every single facet of society. Defund all public science funding so we can have another 50 SpaceXs.

The current advancement of technology and warfare has opened up fascinating opportunities for powerful nations (USA). For example, given the extremely sophisticated targeting capacities of Palantir, how out of realm would taking out the entire Castro family be? I'm not talking about the morality, but simply the military options now available to the President.

If highly targeted/tailored LLM ads on free accounts aren’t good enough for HN, are any ads acceptable?

Let’s be reasonable.
