What seems just as concerning is that when you remove a text or a document from a website, there is no way for the outside world to retrieve it. There is not even any material or physical evidence that it ever existed.

Well, that didn’t quite go as you predicted. Claude (Sonnet 4) and Copilot (Think Deeper) both came up with 27. Deepseek (Deepthink R1) claimed it used a random number generator and came up with 17, same as Mistral/LeChat. Then there’s Grok3 (DeepSearch), who suggested 42; the meaning of life. I’m not surprised — Grok’s still in full puberty.

I get the point. Only a few days ago I watched the restored version of "Jeanne Dielman,...", to its full length of 3 hours and 20 minutes. Nothing happens in that movie, absolutely nothing at all, except for the registration of a housewife's daily routine and a few conversations with her son. Until the last quarter of an hour. You start with boredom, wanting to stop and forget all about it. But then curiosity kicks in, and you learn to appreciate the innumerable small details.

Quite sure that's Elon Musk and not a lookalike or a doctored image?

No, please no. Rather than 'giving more context' images (or thumbnails FTM) would just distract from the subject given in title. I'm 15YO on Reddit and I still use the <old.reddit> interface.

Amen to that!

I have never ever used push e-mail, because I'd hate it too if (paper)post delivery would come with a bang on the door every time there's a letter in the mailbox. So I have never ever been disturbed in my sleep for that reason. You people bring it upon yourselves, nuff said.
