Excuse the bluntness but...why ?

Might be old inside, but paying and using that many controversial resources (ram, data center space, water, etc.) to help you play a video game ? And you would like to just...talk to it ? Oof. Luddite life might be for me.

He does not care about you, at all. He does not care that you, or anyone you care about becomes a casualty in the consequences of his act.

Imagine : scientists might have to work with each other to avoid using AI out of fear of stealing.

Something like the movie "The Most Unknown", where scientists spend time explaining their problems to others scientists in other/adjacent fields.

How do you take notes, generally speaking ?

Could anyone enlighten me as to why to use Obsidian in one's daily life ? I have a dozen ideas popping a day and nothing comes close in terms of ease than a paper notebook for capturing and some apple notes equivalent for storage. Used to have a Notion but all the "Second Brain" movement seems...fishy to me ?

I agree with you and the upper comment. The destruction of the old self is in not feeding it. You starve the "bad taste" inside of you by only ingesting what the "good taste" inside of you likes. Kind of like good gut bacteria ?

What is the benefit ? Sharing thoughts to the external world would be like going to a bakery and walking out with flour and eggs. Isn't the act of talking/writing part of the thinking ? Am I just going to share intrusive thoughts and half-baked ideas to my CIA agent now ?

Really makes me think that the so-called goal of life circles around those points. I can totally imagine a third-place solely dedicated to curiosity. Hard to bring such places into existence with the capitalist hell-hole we're in, but when there is a will...

And also I suspect most companies work with big consultants like Bain and McKinsey because they (the companies) are scared and clueless and have no vision about how to run their businesses, which is perfect for them (the big consultants) to extract value from them with smoke up their holes and predictions about a future no one has ever seen yet.
