This made me feel sick in 5 seconds.

This has Claude written all over it.

"Recipe 4: On-The-Fly Embedding (The Fresh Data Play)

The insight If your data changes frequently, why pay to re-embed everything?"

This reads like every Claude generated presentation I've seen.

Missing some spammy "article" links with AI generated images.

I analyze in the company I work for, the number of commits with "wire" or "wiring" in the description, and it's a direct correlation to Claude usage, more so than any other Claudism I tested. My honest take, and I'm going to give it to you straight: No one was using "wired" a year ago, now it's in like 10% of commits.

The interesting thing to me is that this is Android based if I understand correctly. The Google TV Android based experience is very good, I've been wanting a good Android based desktop OS since forever.

> I don't get the comments trashing this.

People like to hate on Meta regardless of anything, and regardless of whether it's justified or not. Not saying it isn't, just that it's many people's default bias.

Hyperion Cantos might be my favorite sci-fi series ever. What a great writer.

I just tweeted the exact same thought a few days ago, I guess we're all going through the same journey right now.

When GPT3 was opened to researchers 4-5 years ago, a friend of mine had access and we tried some stuff together; I was blown away that it could translate code it hasn't seen between programming languages, but it seemed to be pretty bad at it at the time. I did not expect coding to be the killer app of LLMs but here we are.

Yeah, it's not just the novelty aspect, I genuinely like how it sounds and how it opens up new ways to be creative with sound making. I'd really like to hear what Radiohead or Bjork would make with something like that.

Coming next year: A Behringer knockoff that's just as good for $250.

You can change the actual resonator shape (it says it comes with 3 different shapes) to affect their sound. Like actually unscrew them and screw different ones on. Since this is just a piece of metal I see endless hacking opportunities here.

Pretty sick demo here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFNQoekyGAs

at 6:20 he's showing how placing different objects on the resonators changes their tone.

I want this so bad.

I take noise cancelling headphones to the bathroom at work, especially after lunch.
