Some browsers do have anti fingerprinting (e.g. Brave)

That is a very mealy-mouthed way of saying citizens should only have access to information that their government approves.

Why would the west want to do that? Leashes are for dogs, not people. The people want to live in the land of the free, not the land of the leash.

But they're doing it under the banner of the libre software movement, whose raison d'être is free (as in liberty) software. Having political strings attached is antithetical to the movement.

> The industry at the moment wants people who know how to use AI to further the business goals but here’s the thing nobody wants to admit: not one person knows how to use AI to actually do that.

Of course there are people that know how to do that. If you work an office job and don't know how to do that, you'd better learn to do it fast or start learning to weld or something.

It's not irrelevant for generating sequences of words. Input of "that is the dumbest idea I've ever heard" and "perhaps that idea could use some improvement" don't necessarily generate the same output

I'm not convinced this would be good for training. Reality is that some people are assholes. My intuition is that an accurate (representative) data set leads to a more accurate world model, and thus more intelligent AI.

Does anyone know if Anthropic are notifying the user when something gets flagged for human review?

The end game will be that either your site is fully open to bots and humans alike, or your site is open to humans only(×) and requires Airport security style identity verification.

(×) and their AI delegates

What model did you use to build this? I recently looked in to building something similar and got refusals.

I think it's inevitable that eventually one of the big AI companies makes something like this. It's such an obvious consumer win. "I am not a bot" checkboxes are a string and peg tethering the elephant.

You're framing this as if people are deliberately making decisions that they believe are unethical. The reality is that people have different ethical frameworks. For example, I believe that there is no ethical distinction between whether a web request originates from a browser or from an LLM on my behalf.

Nice presupposition in the headline that children using Google® is the good, safe and natural order of things. Using AI must be bad, scary and dangerous
