Node.js! It can help you collaborate with more teams. Lots of reusable code in the ecosystem.

Hi. I also work at Ultra Mobile on the SRE team. All the SRE positions are indeed fully remote.

You may contact me using my profile information if you are interested in getting some questions answered.

Until the open source options have direct download options that 'just work', Quicken is the best.

I've tried GnuCash and Skrooge, can't ever get the direct downloads to work for more than two months without breaking.

Go might be useful since Terraform uses Go.

Try to focus on what your shop has already. Solve their problems first.

I'm joining a shop in the new year that was impressed by my use of the Serverless framework. Impress them.

Thanks

12-ish person dev team: CTO has a filter on copyleft licenses for projects intended for distribution. And I don't blame him.

I've been warning the other new people since I've been asked. I'm also new-ish.

I've tried the 'x% discount for y guaranteed amount of hours' pitch before. It doesn't really work; most potential clients are still thinking about the '$z/hour' that you told them before the pitch.

Perhaps! 2.0 has Babel Macros. I think this may allow user changes to config without rolling the react-scripts package to npm with your changes.
