What part of ending no fault eviction is feel good nonsense? People not being able to be evicted from their homes arbitrarily is a bad thing?

Pathetic.

Labour theory of value should first be applied to management staff who produce nothing of value before employees that at least contribute something.

My UK based bank ringfences some processes behind the app, and some behind the website. Setting up an automatic direct debit? Browser. Want to approve a one off payment? App. Absolute nonsense.

Don't scare people with an article explicitly calling it Marxist! They'll have a fit!

If you're a cop, ICE agent, your neighbour is black, you're a US diplomat's wife (one of which murdered a young man here in the UK and ran away with no consequence, and the American state refused to send her murdering arse back), or you have enough money, by the looks of it you could do that without consequence.

Are we classing A-roads as "highways" now? If not, I have no idea what you mean when you say you're never far from a highway in London. There are no motorways through London.

The UK, crown dependencies and overseas territories compete as Great Britain in the Olympics rather than the UK. Northern Irish folks can compete for Ireland or GB.

As an English person I would say that Scotland and Wales are nations and countries; constituent countries of the country that is the UK.

England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are constituent countries of the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom is also a country. You can disagree, but you're disagreeing with the government and the international community.

The BBC do use a consistent naming scheme, you're just not understanding the scheme. Scotland has their own devolved NHS, and track their own health statistics. Scotland not being mentioned is because the Hepatitis C Trust were talking about England's Hep C numbers, it wasn't an intentional slight on Scotland.

I don't understand the use case. I've never seen why Postgres is better than anything else if I'm honest. Even if it is much, much faster, database transactions aren't what slow things down if written well in web applications.
