Tmux, nvim, opencode + a load of custom scripts and skills is all I need. I cringe every time I see some colleague daddle around with sth like this or copilot trying to phrase a prompt what should be just a git command. But I might just not be the target audience.

100% - it would make more sense if they also supported elixir or other dynamic languages

We have reached levels of slop that I never thought would be possible.

As a rust fan I'm ashamed of what atrocities are happening with fat rust labels ontop. But as a dev I know it's not about frameworks or languages, but about the loud wannabes with skill issues, who just got their new toys and can finally proclaim that code is solved and that they where right to never learn the basics. Well let's see

It's a general purpose language (as mentioned several times) and compiling to js eg. for lustre webapps (elm-ish). I've contributed to the js compiler once only and can't find a way to use more gleam at my job but I'd say having failsafe actor based erlang backend + ssr + rich strongly typed reactive frontend all in one language is really cool.

It seems your stuck on js-only for ui and somehow rejecting compile to js. If you don't wanna use it fine but I'm not sure what you're looking for in this thread...

A webui halicunated just for you? I think this must be by far the scariest and from my point of view worst idea you could ever come up with, no offense. Why would you ever want your web-experience to be non deterministic. A different ui every time you load? Even longer loading spinners then with mbs of react dependencies today? This is wrong on more levels then I could count

Could make that an AGENT.md and use a dumber model via opencode to slop maxx even harder!

yes! I just don't understand that as well. Up until some time ago claud code's preferred install was a npm i, wasn't it? Please serious answers for why anyone would use a web language for a terminal app

3 source files, nice code, no vibe-coding slob, nice little project... That's rare these days

Bat is nice. Oh dang now i have to try this plugin. I remember trying a couple of similar ones that got me so frustrated that i abandoned the idea of markdown viewers in nvim... Here we go again XD

<3 if I don't see 15 new node modules and 3 CVEs by EOB today I'll replace you with a css architect and vibe-coding nft monkey by next week!
